Woman Empowerment is a reality only when we’re able to save our girl child, educate her and protect her till she becomes a woman. Our honorable Prime Minister and the government realized this and passionately started an initiative – BETI PADHAO-BETI BACHAO, towards girl child education and protection.
AEWS has campaigned extensively in slums of different zones of Delhi and Dharavi area of Mumbai, Maharashtra. As a part of our contribution towards this cause, we distributed books and stationery items to those girls who were already going to school, and also to those who were deprived of the opportunity due to various socio-economic reasons. The response was overwhelming which encourages us to keep going back to such areas to keep the flame on.
