ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS

ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS

Environment is of two kinds, one that we breathe in and the other that we live in. Whether rich or poor, educated or uneducated, healthy or unhealthy, Environment of both kinds affects us all, and in equal manner without any bias and differentiation.

It’s an irony of the sorts that though everyone, irrespective of his/her social/economic status, wants to live in a healthy and peaceful environment but very few want to contribute to keep it so. The majority, unfortunately, only blame about it not being so. People blame governments, governments blame people, and interestingly people also blame other people as responsible for its poor quality.

It doesn’t even stop here; it goes on to the level of nations and nations blame each other. In all this chaos, there’s one causality…and that is of the Environment itself. Environment cannot be limited in its span and effect as just being local, but it is global. It does not accept, nor acknowledges any geographical or political boundaries. For Environment, it’s one Earth.

If the temperature of the earth rises, then it’s not at one place, it adversely affects the atmosphere of the whole world. Warming becomes a global phenomenon which triggers dangerous trends in the environmental behavior of the earth which get transformed into natural disasters and calamities due to which the entire humanity has to suffer.

At AEWS, we take it as a very serious responsibility without blaming upon any one or all. We feel that the only way out is through knowledge, understanding and patience. One may not be able to bring the change alone, but one can change one’s habits and behavior. Through that change, the big change is possible.

By spreading awareness through various means like workshops, campaigns and one-to-one, we make people understand that the resources are for responsible utilization as no resource is unlimited, be it water, petrol, electricity or even food. So, we must not abuse but only use. A clean environment, healthy environment is for the benefit of all and it’s also the responsibility of all.
